My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti and their families. It is sad that it took such devastation for the world to come to Haiti's rescue. I sincerely hope that out of this tragedy a new and better beginning will be born for the population. Please share your thoughts as part of this thread.

I write on here sometimes to get some things off my chest and explore that part of the psyche that never shuts off. I'm at a point now where i'm forced to research Truth about everything I've ever thought to be true. I often ask myself, "what exactly is truth"? It is perception from one's own ideals of thought through research..and if so how is it measured? We research old ideas of others that over the years have been tainted and distorted but hold up in society as truth. Where does one go to find it? Where does one go for direction? Some may say Jah...read more (209 words)

Sistah's where you at? it has been a minute since you said what's on your mind, now I know you out there making it do what it do but, come on sprinkle some love up in here. Now can we talk? what's going on? I mean really, what's going on? I see old girl trying to hook LIFEOFASINGLEBLA
up with dude, now that right there was a hot mess, and then she had the nerves enough to get upset like she was some sort of old pimp, now that just was not right. What else is going on over here?

Good Morning ladies, I hope everybody is in good spirits and doing well. I just walked in from work put on my coffee and I just was thinking, when was the last time I checked to see if there is a more affordalbe plan for me with the services I have, you know like the light company do they have a better plan for me or the phone or cable or cell phone companies, oh they gave a decent plan when they were trying to get my business but, what have they done for me lately? I have been a loyal customer for a while and I see the deals to get in, but once your in and have my loyality what are they doing to make me stay? so my plan today is to see what it is that they can offer me to make me want to stay loyal to their services, if they don't have a plan that meets my loyality then I might have to click my heels three times and ease on down the rode.

Health care was a mess in 2009. It has become a bigger mess in 2010. Democrats and Republicans all share responsibility for tripping over themselves and posturing at the expense of all Americans. Israel is not always right. Why is everyone always afraid to call a spade a spade? What the Israelis and Palestinians do is none of my business and it will never be my business. Barack Obama did not cause the oil spill. The folks who blame him for the BP oil spill are from Mars; so is the CEO of BP. What jobs? What transparency in government is there? What economic recovery?

First I would like to offer many blessings to all those suffering after the flooding and I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. This is more of a commentary about the press. I watched some videos of the flooding on YouTube and it was reminiscent of Katrina. The difference is that the flooding was so wide spread, which makes it worse than Katrina in numbers. What I wonder is why wasn't the coverage the same for this disaster? The press controls information. There was little to no movement of charities. The outpouring that went to Haiti was non-existent for Tennessee. Obama is taking some heat for not "doing enough" and some are calling it his Katrina. He declared it a disaster and had more federal support in there faster than any disaster in recent history. The next day to be precise. Where was the media? Where was the call to aid? When does the apology go to the survivors? The media is a waste.
