Seems like everywhere I turn these days there is career, interviewing and job search advice. The advice is on tv, in the careers section of local newspapers and everywhere else. Nothing wrong with that. I am just surprised that in an economy as dismal as the one we're in the advice is nothing that would make some job seekers stop and think twice. It is all so basic and sometimes borders on being an insult to the reader's and listener's intelligence. I wonder why the career information is so light on substance when this is a perfect time to offer more meaningful information to so many folks who are out of work and others who are overworked in their jobs making up for too many layoffs, etc.
