I just saw this movie in it's entirety. It moved me because I can relate to her more than any noted figures. I am from Texas and yes most parts are still racist. What moved me is because she was so strong even when they tried to take her kids away. As I was watching I was so proud to be a black woman because it reminded me of our strength, endurance, and unconditional love that we provide in all situations. We are always doting on the good works of Oprah or Rosa Parks, not to discredit their works, but what about our unsung heros? I grieve for our young people because they can look at this and nothing sparks in them to change. But like they always say with age comes wisdom. We are going to always search for world peace but sadly it will never be, but it doesn't mean we should stop being good people. I think that everyone should watch this movie and see if it doesn't move you to tears.
