Interview of a Black Woman

Black Women Speak!Hi,

I'm an undergrad at Rutgers University and I have and 10pg paper assignment for one of my classes. The 'oral traditon' has been an integral aspect of the cultural survival of Black people and particularly Black women. My assignent is to record your story--to share your life through a narrative. I have to create a 10 pg paper of this woman's life, some demographic data and an analysis of her experiences, which reflects my understanding of the material covered in class.

All personal information--such as your name--will be kept anonymous if you wish it to be.

I will post the questions below and you may answer the one's which you please or all of them if you like.

I would love the opportunity to learn about my culture and to hear a first hand experience. I will do my very best to portray your story with the respect it deserves.

Thank you,

M.P.
