I too, have came far cross the ocean to America. I've traveled from Mother Africa(The one and only--The Mother Land). Lagos, Nigeria. That's where my name came from. Back home, my name represents a woman of meaning.
Here in America, it's a journey. Never know what's coming at you. But I must admit, America have it's cultures, religions and belief's. Very interesting to me. I do respect people's out look on certain things, but I'm not saying that I have to agree.
To me, America is like playing the game Monoply. You do good for a while, then stumble backwards a notch. You go to jail, rent houses and hotels. You also buy houses an hotels. The IRS gets you. Make it to payday and collect money. (LOL)
